Even years after he's been gone, the quality he brought to their videos remains. The Banter is his collaboration with We Knives drawing inspiration from other folding knives with the sole aim at being the perfect EDC piece. We think Ben succeeded and this knife is an impressive tool that hits a lot of marks right on the nose. First and foremost, the Banter is an ideal size for everyday carry. The nearly three-inch blade is housed in a compact handle so the overall length is just a hair over six-and-a-half inches. The wide base gives you ample room to grip and places the cutting surface right next to the fingers for more leverage. It's a simple shape with simple carbon fiber and stainless steel liner construction but what it lacks in design aesthetics it more than makes up in terms of ergonomics and strength. It's comfortable, solid, and it just flat out gets the job done. Dual thumb studs allow multiple opening methods but the deep-carry pocket clip is now set-up for tip-up, right or left-hand carry on this exclusive model. The jimping on the thumb ramp is ultra-functional and the lanyard hole is large enough for 550-paracord. They started by manufacturing OEM designs for other companies and have gained a reputation in the industry as a name you can rely on. Their products are innovative, beautiful, and extremely well-built so you can rest assured you're getting a supreme quality product at a great price. The 906 Arrakis comes on the heels of the Eschaton, We Knives' first collaborative effort with Elijah Isham. It was a knife that took us by surprise at the time with its dynamic styling, superb build quality, and surprisingly stellar ergonomics. However, production was very limited and many Isham and We fans were left without one of those coveted blades. The Arrakis is here to change that, with a very similar look and feel to the Eschaton, but with a more usable blade shape. The Arrakis features We Knives' superb flipping action and Elijah's attention to detail, however, it's the construction of this knife that impresses us the most. The handle is made with an integral gray titanium frame with gold anodized titanium scales and an inset liner lock mechanism. The gray frame doesn't extend all the way to the pivot but ends at the point where the gold titanium scales begin and we've only ever seen this done once before. The pocket clip, backspacer, screws, pivot cap, and washers are all 6Al4V titanium for maximum quality assurance and you have a finger choil for fine detail work. Everything about this knife is well thought out and superbly executed, and we are proud to present it to you as your next everyday carry or maybe even safe queen.
