Created in cooperation with the young knifemaker Alex Kremer and Daily Customs, the Boker Daily Knives AK1 is a versatile small everyday knife which is not only completely convincing as an EDC but already enjoys cult status.
The great success of the models with RWL-34 blade steel prompted Boker to design a high-end version. While the manufacturer, Fat Carbon had already surprised Boker time and again with composite patterns that they could not have imagined before, the new material Fat Carbon Space-Coral Silver sets a completely new accent. The cross-section of the pattern is rotated by 90° and the even spacing of the fine lines are arranged in ingeniously ordered chaos.
This material highlight was considered just good enough for them to use it as handle scales for the blade and tang made of stainless Damascus by Chad Nichols in the Boomerang pattern. This creates a charming visual interplay between the materials, which also both have the best mechanical properties in their respective functions.
The handle scales can be removed effortlessly with the included Torx key, so that the elaborately crafted lanyard hole at the end of the handle can be turned around when the handle scales are removed and optionally disappear into the handle. Supplied with a high-quality black leather sheath, which has a sewn-in Ulticlip and can be conveniently attached to the hem of the pocket thanks to the locking spring clip. This allows the Boker AK1 Damascus to be drawn effortlessly while the sheath is reliably held in place by the Ulticlip. Handmade in the Boker Knife Manufactory in Solingen.
